Help with burnt bench!

Vandals took a memorial bench from the side of young Sean Hainey's grave and tossed it on a bonfire. It is believed it was done by drunken yobs. The family are very sad about the loss of the bench as they would sit on it by the boys grave to pay tribute to him.

AYR United move to Heathfield

Finally, AYR United will move to a new stadium at Heathfield from Somerset Park. They pledge that they will once again be a major provincial club within Scotland.

Barret Homes are believed to be the buyers of Somerset Park. Cash from the sale will be used to start the development of a 3650 main stand.

Council jobs face axe

According to the Ayrshire Post, dozens of Council Workers could lose their jobs. This is all in favour of saving £14 millions in the next year.
 
LAN Party in Ayrshire!

According to TripAdvisor, Ayr is the 3rd most popular holiday destination in the world & in Europe. The survey was taken by about 4000 people and covers destinations, holiday likes and dislikes, airports and more.

Ayr seems to be popular because of its shopping, race course, world class golfing, beeches and accessibility. I am sure Burns would have been proud!
